Weekly Round-Up 3/14
What's happening in BYB World this week!
Happy St. Patricks Day! This is my first time experiencing a Chicago St. Patty’s and I am excited to see what the hype is about. If you have recs, send them my way!
ICYMI
YOUTUBE
This week on youtube, I dove deeper on some topics discussed in a prior podcast episode with Paige Pritchard. I am sharing 3 ultra-tactical ways you can reduce your spend and stop overspending in relation to your personal and financial goals. It’s a good one!
PODCAST
It’s the top of a new season which means it’s time for a State of the Union. This week, I am sharing my ins and outs for Spring 2025 and we’re getting a little more #personal than usual!
CUSTOMER SUCCESS STORY
These kinds of messages literally make my day every time I get one. They also highlight what can happen when you start tracking your money. When you know your numbers you can make smarter and more informed financial decisions. It really is as simple as that!

I love hearing your wins!
TOP SOCIAL CONVERSATIONS
Avoiding Lifestyle Infation
As part of my Work-Optional Series on socials, this week I shared how my main focus has been to downsize my living space and avoid lifestyle inflation as best as I can. This most tangibly came from reducing the size of my apartment, but I am also in the process of pairing down my wardrobe and really eliminating a lot of clothes I am just not reaching for! 👀
We’re in our FI/RE era and this week I shared posts about Traditional and Coast FI/RE! If you are interested in this FI/RE conversation, I recommend reviewing these posts so you can get a deeper understanding of the different FI/RE types and what resonates with you the most!
THIS WEEK’S FAVORITE
If you didn’t know, I have a High/Low series over on LTK! This is where I share an item I am shopping for but at different prices points (mostly over or under $200). Lately I have been in the market for a trench coat, so I gathered a few options - and of course they all hit my material composition thresholds!
Also - I just bought a new Polene bag (IYKYK) only to find out after it arrived that Gap actually has one that is $30 and basically exactly the same. LOL. Obviously the Polene is nicer, but if you want the look for less, check out the one from Gap!
